ISHACON 2020

The streets of Chandigarh were buzzed with Audiologists, dealers and students as it was the time for ISHACON 2020. The 52nd ISHACON 2020 is organized by Indian Speech and Hearing Association, Chandigarh Chapter (CISHA) and was organized from 13th to 16th February 2020, at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh.
ISHACON is an annual convention is conducted every year to celebrate the latest developments, research and gain new knowledge in the field of Speech-Language and Hearing. This year it was very special for us as we were the Platinum Sponsor for ISHACON 2020.
DAY 1:
Our day 1 began with welcoming our National guests as well as our international guests Mr. Steffen Schafroth and Mr. Steffen Rose from Bernafon AG which was then followed by the official launch of Bernafon’s super power hearing aid LEOX attended by a number of delegates. The launch event was attended by big and important people from the hearing aid industry. The launch was attended by Ms. Aarti Gupta from Times Health, Chandigarh, Ms. Merlin John, Ms. Manju IM, Ms. Neha Chowdhary from Ayush, Ms Bela Jairath from Fortis Mohali, E Mr. Shrikant Kishan from Vizag, Ms. Radhika Mathur form Mathur Radios, Lucknow and Industry veteran Mr. Ramesh Oza to name a few.
The launch event was then followed by a product Presentation on Bernafon newest fitting software OASISnxt and hands-on connectivity by our international members from Mr. Steffen Rose. Mr. Steffen Rose is an experienced Audiologist and Engineer for Hearing Technology with over 20 years of experience is currently working with Bernafon, Switzerland.
DAY 2:
On day two began with an informative session on the technology “Dynamic Feedback Canceller™ (DFC™)” was conducted by Mr. Steffen Rose in the auditorium which was attended by the audiologists as well as the students. It was a busy and productive day for us as our stall was visited by 100’s of delegates and they were all very delighted and enthusiastic to know about our hearing aid LEOX.
DAY 3: 
The next day began with PPL (PGI PREMIER LEAGUE), our very first sponsored in association with Digital Plus 24x7 at ISHACON 2020. It was a proud moment for us as something like this has never happened in ISHACON before. It was lovely to see a lot of enthusiasm and energy amongst all the teams on the field.
DAY 4:
The last day began, where our international experts had handed over the certificates to the hearing aid professionals. Plus, an informative session with our experts was conducted where they had discussed the features, connectivity and hands-on experience on the software as well as the LEOX in depth.
The entire ISHACON 2020 experience was brilliantly amazing and we loved every bit of it, from day 1 till the last day. We had an incredible opportunity to meet, interact and communicate with the greatest minds in the hearing aid industry across the country. We would also like to take an opportunity to thank ISHA and its members for taking an initiative once again.
